The Relational Path

Ethics of The Spiritual Self

10 hour Continued Education Virtual Course
Led by Parashakti Alexandra & Kirby Yoga
June 2 - July 7, 2026

“When you decide to embrace the spiritual life, you devote time to prayer, meditation and the study of philosophical or mystical writings that give you a glimpse of the most profound truths. Your heart then fills with love, your mind is enlightened, and the meaning of life finally becomes clear to you.” —Omraam

What This Course Is

Ethics of the Spiritual Self is the second chapter of The Relational Path, a body of work we began in 2025. While our first course, Ethics of Togetherness, explored the yamas (the ethics of how we relate to others), this offering turns inward.

There is no prerequisite for joining. Whether or not you walked with us in the first course, you are welcome to join.

Last year, we explored relationship as practice: how we connect, create boundaries, repair, and show up with integrity in our lives with others. It was outward-facing work, and for many, it deeply transformed the quality of their relationships.

This course asks a different question:

How do you show up for yourself on your spiritual path?

For many, tending to others comes more naturally than tending to the self. Devotion outward can feel easier than devotion inward. Ethics of the Spiritual Self is an invitation to rebalance that.

Over six weeks, we will move through the niyamas, the inner observances of yoga philosophy, as an embodied practice. It is about cultivating a relationship with yourself that is intentional, devotional, and deeply compassionate.

We will approach this work through a feminine lens; honoring that our bodies are cyclical, intuitive, and not designed for sameness day after day. Instead of forcing consistency, we will explore rhythm, devotion, and sustainable spiritual care.

This container is a space to return to yourself:

  • To listen more honestly

  • To care for yourself more deliberately

  • To walk your path with greater integrity and tenderness

Each week, we will study a niyama not just intellectually, but with our whole Being: integrating philosophy into lived experience through embodied journaling, discussion, meditation, and curiosity.

This space is for you if:

  • You practice yoga and are craving a more embodied, lived experience of its philosophy

  • You are someone who tends to others first, and feel the quiet (or loud) pull to return your energy back to yourself

  • You are a yoga teacher (or guide) who wants to deepen your understanding of yogic wisdom and teach from a more rooted, authentic place

  • You identify as spiritual and are seeking a consistent, intimate community to share your path, reflections, and growth

  • You’ve felt that classes in studios can be nourishing, but are missing the depth and philosophical integration you’re truly craving

  • You value learning from teachers who are devoted to honoring the roots of yoga, weaving ancient texts and teachings into modern, embodied practice

What You’ll Walk Away With

By the end of these six weeks, you will feel as though you’ve cleared the dust off your spiritual life, returning to your values with clarity, devotion, and renewed intention.

This is the work of coming back into alignment.

You will return to your every day rhythms with a deeper, more intimate connection to your true self, your inner awareness and higher consciousness, and your relationship to the Sacred

At its essence, living the niyamas is a practice of inner cleanliness and purification in a way that brings you into such honesty and clarity that you naturally begin to live from: Contentment, Acceptance, Trust, and surrender

Everything will begin to shift.

Spiritual disciplines will no longer feel like something to check off a list, but instead become acts of self love, devotion, and care for your own sacredness.

Ultimately, this course is not about adding more to who you are, but about clearing what is in the way, so you can live as who you already are with greater truth, presence, and devotion.

Your Teachers ::

Kirby is based in Austin, Texas, and leads transformational retreats across Central America. A former nomadic backpacker, she blends the raw wisdom she’s gained from life on the road with the timeless teachings of yoga. With over 1,000 hours of training and a grounded, authentic presence, Kirby is known for her life-changing classes that go far beyond the mat. She teaches from experience, with a deep commitment to truth, growth, and real connection.

When Kirby and Parashakti came together to co-create The Relational Path: Ethics of Togetherness in 2025, there was an immediate sense of alignment not just in what they teach, but in how they teach.

They share a fluid, feminine approach to their work; one that honors structure and intention, while remaining responsive to the lived experience of the students inside the container. They are devoted to what is meant to be taught, while allowing space for what naturally wants to unfold.

Together, they create a space that is: Honest and direct, Relational and deeply human, Grounded in real-life experience, not performance

Kirby’s expression tends to be more blunt; cutting through illusion, while Parashakti’s carries a more soft, maternal, and devotional tone. This polarity allows students to be met in multiple ways: challenged, held, and truly seen.

Parashakti’s work has always been rooted in yoga, but her path has deepened through her initiation into motherhood. This chapter of her life has brought a stronger emphasis on the feminine—its rhythms, its intelligence, and its way of moving through the world.

Her teaching explores what it means to be devoted to a spiritual practice without abandoning the cyclical nature of the body. She guides students in reimagining discipline—not as rigidity, but as rhythmic, intuitive, and deeply nourishing.

Parashakti leads courses, trainings, and retreats, and works closely with women through yoga-infused somatic coaching, with a focus on the female nervous system and womb healing.

Her work bridges the ancient and the intimate—helping women not just understand the path of yoga, but live it within their bodies and their lives.
